A Two-Sided Gig Marketplace Built for the On-Demand Economy

Client Brief

The client saw a gap in the market skilled tradespeople with no structured way to find consistent local work, and task-seekers with no reliable way to find vetted help nearby. They wanted to build the bridge.

Location:

USA

Two Groups of people Who Couldn't find Each Other

The gig economy had a matching problem. Task-seekers struggled to find vetted, reliable local help for small jobs. Skilled tradespeople had no structured platform to find consistent, local work relying instead on word of mouth and generic job boards that weren’t built for on-demand tasking.

GPS Matching, In-App Payments, and a Marketplace That Work

Built a two-sided marketplace connecting task-seekers with verified local vendors with GPS-based matching, in-app payments, dual user/vendor dashboards, real-time job tracking, and a mutual review system that builds trust on both sides of the transaction.

02
UI/UX Design Sprint

Figma designs focused on clinical clarity large readable type, clear appointment states, and minimal cognitive load during consultations. Reviewed with real medical practitioners before build.

03
React Native Mobile Build

Cross-platform build covering both iOS and Android from a single codebase no performance compromise on either platform. Video consultation layer integrated with a secure real-time protocol.
